Around 400 people will come together for the 2019 Walk to Cure Arthritis at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center, Saturday, May 11th.

May is Arthritis Awareness Month and, along with this event, the aim is to educate local residents about the serious impact of arthritis, according to the news release. This walk also raises money for the Arthritis Foundation.

“We are so grateful to our Arthritis Warriors and all of their family members, friends and coworkers who come out for the Walk every year,” said Darby Schwartz, the executive director of the Arthritis Foundation. “They know the impact of arthritis more than anyone else. They really want to support what we are doing.”

Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. The event begins 8:00 a.m.
