A group of local artists are coming together to benefit those impacted by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico a year ago nearing the one year anniversary.
Saturday September 15 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Baton Rouge Gallery, 1515 Dalrymple Drive, for “Louisiana Artists for Puerto Rico — a #PoetsforPuertoRico event,” will be assisting El Departamento de la Comida’s mission to rebuild 200 #farms on Puerto Rico in 24 months. The event will host a showcase, spearheaded by area poet and media professional, Leslie D. Rose, featuring talent from across south Louisiana.
