DONALDSONVILLE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office has taken a shooting suspect into custody.
The sheriff’s office said Allen Sanders Jr. was wanted, “in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on Sunday, October 29 in Donaldsonville along Riverview Complex.” He was taken into custody Monday afternoon.
Details on his arrest were not immediately available.
Sanders also goes by Allen “Bleed” McBride, the sheriff’s office said. APSO considered him to be “armed and dangerous.”
He is facing the charges listed below:
- attempted second-degree murder
- aggravated criminal damage to property
- illegal use of weapons
