GONZALES, La. (BRPROUD) — The Gonzales Police Department is investigating after four people were reportedly shot in a park on Sunday, Oct. 8.
According to the police, officers responded to a shooting at Carver Park off of Tobey Street around 9 p.m. Sunday. Four people were shot and two people were seriously injured a car accident. One person was killed as a result of the accident.
Investigators believe multiple guns were used due to the large amount of casings that were found at the scene.
Police are investigating this shooting. This is a developing story. Information about the identity of the victim was not immediately available.
