GONZALES, La. (BRPROUD) — One of the most anticipated Christmas markets is coming back to Ascension Parish in November.
The Merry Market will be returning to the Lamar Dixon Expo Center from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12.
There will be over 260 booths featured this year. According to a news release from Merry Market, attendees will have the chance to shop for clothing, jewelry, home decor, candles, toys, Christmas decor, food, bath and body products, art and more.
There are VIP options, including an event for children called “Cookies & Crafts with Santa.” There will also be a kid-friendly zone where they will have the opportunity to meet Santa and create Christmas arts and crafts.
General admission is $10 and children under the age of 10 get in free. According to Merry Market, parking is free for attendees of the event.
