BELLE RIVER, La (BRPROUD) – Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Pierre Part man following a complaint where he pulled out a firearm on Monday.

According to Sheriff Leland Falcon, deputies were called to respond to a complaint between neighbors. During the dispute, 60-year-old Todd Christopher Doiron allegedly pulled out a firearm. Leland said that deputies spoke to everyone involved.

“Deputies also retrieved video evidence of Todd Christopher Doiron with a shotgun he retrieved from his home after the initial confrontation,” Leland said. “Deputies did recover the firearm.”

Doiron was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm. Doiron was incarcerated and released on a $10,000 bond.
