BELLE ROSE, La. (BRPROUD) — Louisiana State Police say a man died from his injuries in a hospital after a Friday, Nov. 3 crash.
According to LSP, Keith Caballero, 66, of Donaldsonville was driving east on LA Hwy 70 in a curve before his vehicle left the road around 10 p.m.
Investigators said Caballero overcorrected causing the vehicle to cross the centerline, travel off the roadway to the left, and overturn. He was not wearing a seat belt and was seriously hurt in the crash. He was taken to a hospital.
On Nov. 9, LSP said the Donaldsonville man died from his injuries at the hospital.
Investigators are waiting for toxicology results from a sample that was taken from Caballero.
The investigation into this deadly crash remains ongoing.
