BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – 28-year-old Timothy McCoy and 48-year-old, Mahmod Khalaf were shot and killed on Friday.
The shooting occurred on S Sherwood Forest Blvd. and the alleged robber, Timothy McCoy, was shot by a third individual.
That individual is 20-years-old and the Baton Rouge Police Department released this statement about the unidentified man:
The 20 year old individual that was involved in the South Sherwood Forest Blvd. shooting turned himself in to police authorities yesterday afternoon for questioning. After questioning the individual was released without incident.
The investigation into this deadly shooting remains open.
