BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) will hold its annual Fall Fest next Thursday with a Grammy-award winning brass band as the musical guest.

BRCC Fall Fest will be held on Thursday, Nov. 18 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with featured music artist Rebirth Brass Band on the lawn by the Bienvenue Student Center at the Mid-City campus. This event is open to the BRCC community, prospective students and members of the public who are interested in learning more about higher education. The event will have food and giveaways along with live music.

“We’re inviting all prospective BRCC students to come out to the event and speak with our recruitment and outreach team,” BRCC Dean of Students Dr. Donavan Johnson said. “Also, we will have special giveaways for those students who apply at our Fall Fest.”

BRCC encourages attendees to bring their own lawn chairs. For additional information, contact the BRCC Office of Student Life at (225) 216-8535 or email the student life office here.

“It’s an excellent opportunity for prospective students to get a feel for the BRCC community and learn more about the college and our complete offerings,” Johnson said.
