BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – Baton Rouge General Physicians have added two new doctors, Ubaid Abbasi, M.D. and Lauren Tillery, M.D.

Abbasi, a Pakistan native who grew up in Lake Charles, received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from McNeese State University and earned his doctorate from Saba University. Abbasi was chief medical resident in Baton Rouge General’s Family Medicine Residency Program. He will be taking care of patients at BRGP – Medical Associates of Baton Rouge, located at 3401 North Blvd., Suite 400.

Tillery is from Baton Rouge but went to undergrad at the University of Pennsylvania. Tillery received her master’s in Cell and Molecular Biology from Tulane University and received her doctorate from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans at the New Orleans School of Medicine. Tillery will serve the Zachary community at BRGP, she is located at 1185 Americana Blvd., Suite 2170.

Both physicians completed their residency training at BRG’s Family Medicine Residency Program and are taking both in-person and virtual visits.
