BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – Baton Rouge General (BRG) announced the addition of two urology satellite clinics, led by Dr. William “Trey” Kubricht and Dr. Andrew McCall, who will provide both inpatient and outpatient services. The new clinics will expand Louisiana Urology LLC’s presence at BRG’s Bluebonnet location.
The satellite clinics will be located inside one of BRG’s OB/GYN clinics and one of its family medicine clinics, offering patients added convenience and easy scheduling. For example, patients will have access to their gynecologist alongside their urologist for convenient post-operative care all in one visit.
Dr. Kubricht holds dual board certifications in both female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, and adult and pediatric urology. His focus is on minimally invasive and surgical management for pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction and genitourinary reconstruction, as well as noninvasive female pelvic medicine. Additional interests include kidney stone disease, recurrent urinary tract infections, and general urology. Dr. Kubricht also works closely with BRG’s Physical Therapy Department on pelvic floor rehabilitation and management.
Dr. McCall, service chief of urology for BRG, earned a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University and his medical degree from LSUHSC-S. He completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., in urology. A Lake Charles native, he is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urological Association. Dr. McCall serves as faculty preceptor for BRG’s Family Medicine Residency Program, supervising residents in their urology rotations
