Baton Rouge General Unveils Vision for the Future

After 18 months of planning, Baton Rouge General/General Health System’s Board of Trustees have released future plans for the Mid City campus location.

Changes will include expanding roads and improving the flow of traffic for people in the area.

There will be an expansion of the Regional Burn Center and inpatient behavioral health services. Wellness programs will be established to offer opportunities for those to be active.

The Bluebonnet campus will continue to proved general medicine and emergency care.The 142-acre campus has more than 60 acres of land still to be developed.
