BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Pro Hockey Team announced on Saturday that officials have narrowed down the team name to three options.
An announcement date and the three choices have not yet been revealed to the public. Ticket information will come after the team name is announced, officials said.
“We want to thank all of you fans for your submissions and continued support. Please be patient as we continue our process to name the team and conduct interviews to put a staff in place,” the announcement said.
A team name submission contest was open in April for fans to submit their most creative team name ideas. The winner will receive a pair of season tickets for the inaugural season and a team jersey with the winning name on the back.
