Baton Rouge Lagniappe: Celebrate National Chocolate Day on Oct. 28

BATON ROUGE, La. (WVLA/WGMB) — National Chocolate Day is celebrated annually on Oct. 28. It’s a whole day dedicated to everything chocolate.

The Local 33 Today morning team wants to know how you plan to celebrate. Make sure to post your favorite chocolate recipe to the WVLA Facebook page. When posting pictures to social media, use #NationalChocolateDay and tag any of the current morning crew: @KellyAnneTV, @GerronJordan or @AshleyRuizWX.

Kelly Anne Beile gave a special shout-out to Milano cookies and later said off-camera that she fondly remembers going to the grocery store with her dad as a child and always asking for dark chocolate Milanos.

Gerron Jordan and Meteorologist Ashley Ruiz said chocolate chip cookies have always been their favorite.
