BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A Baton Rouge man was shot to death around 3:37 p.m. Saturday at 1342 N. 38th St. after a verbal altercation turned violent.
Malik Cox, 28, verbally argued with the killer before that person shot him multiple times, leaving Cox dead at the scene, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.
The shooter fled the scene before police arrived, but witnesses were able to provide police with information on him.
The investigation is ongoing.
