Baton Rouge OMV resumes normal call center hours

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles call center will open for normal hours starting on Monday.

Normal business hours will resume for customers seeking driver’s license reinstatement services. The call center is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Reinstatement can only be processed in the following ways:

  • Call the OMV Call Center at (225)-925-6146
  • Mail the OMV Mail Center at P.O. Box 64886, Baton Rouge, La 70896
  • Visit the OMV express lane website

The express lane website can also help customers:

  •  Renew driver’s license and ID card
  • Obtain a duplicate driver’s license or ID card
  •  Renew a vehicle registration
  • View and change installment plan
  • Obtain an official driving record
  • Cancel a vehicle license plate
  • Report a vehicle as sold, donated or traded
