Baton Rouge Police Chief discussing crime in the Capital City

Baton Rouge Police Chief Murphy Paul is holding a news conference to talk about crime in the Capital City. 

As of Wednesday, August 15, Baton Rouge has seen 53 homicides this year. 

That comes on the heels of over 100 homicides last year in the state capital.

The Thursday morning news conference is occurring at the Baton Rouge Police Headquarters at 10:30 a.m.

The Baton Rouge Police Headquarters is located at 9000 Airline Hwy.
