BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department arrested two men and a 17-year-old in connection to a September shooting.
Police said Reginald Parker, 40, Jermaine Parker, 18, and a 17-year-old male were charged Monday, Oct. 16, in relation to the shooting of an unnamed 28-year-old man who was injured on Sept. 13 in the 11000 block of North Harrells Ferry Road.
Police said the suspects approached the victim and shot him for unknown reasons. The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Jermaine Parker was booked and charged with attempted second-degree murder, illegal use of a firearm and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Reginald Parker was booked and charged with principal to attempted second-degree murder and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
Police said the 17-year-old was booked into the East Baton Rouge Juvenile Detention on attempted second-degree murder and illegal use of a firearm.
