BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Two people were shot in their car on Airline Highway Sunday morning.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said the victims were shot while sitting in a vehicle in the 4400 block of Airline Highway. The victims drove themselves to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Police said there were three people in the car but only two were injured.
Police do not have a suspect or a motive at this time, but the shooting is under investigation. Information about the victims’ identities or details on the investigation were not immediately available.
