BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A family circus is preparing to head to Baton Rouge.

According to a release, Dusty’s All-Star Circus is coming to Baton Rouge on Wednesday, Oct. 18, and Thursday, Oct. 19 to the Jewel J. Newman Community Center, 2013 Central Road. Two shows will be scheduled for each day, one at 4 p.m. and the other at 7 p.m. Doors open at 4 p.m.

The circus features a diverse cast of circus stars from American circuses.

“We are thrilled to bring a fun, exciting show for the entire family to Scotlandville,” said Dusty Sadler, founder of Dusty’s All-Star Circus. “You will be swept away on an emotion-stirring, magical journey right here in Baton Rouge, La.”

Free tickets are available for children under the age of 12 with each paying adult for all shows, courtesy of Councilwoman Chauna Banks. Guests are asked to visit the Jewel J. Newman Community Center; Building B. Tickets must be brought to the show to be claimed.

Tickets can also be purchased online here. Tickets for adults are $20 and tickets for children ages 2-17 are $15.
