BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The founder of Barstool Sports, Dave Portnoy, gave a review of the pizza at Schlittz & Giggles, on Saturday, Oct. 14, and there is a lot to unpack. Portnoy gave his review while wearing an Angel Reese jersey.
He mentioned it was his “first time back on campus since the whole, the ring thing.”
During the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championships, Portnoy called Reese a “Classless piece of sh-t” after she made a ring gesture toward an Iowa player.
Portnoy talked about how he bet on Iowa and Reese “stuck a dagger in my heart.” He then jumped into reviewing the pizza after saying, “one bite, everyone knows the rules.”
After trying the pizza, Portnoy gave it a 4.2 and said “Geaux Tigers.” Along the way, Portnoy mispronounced po’boys and New Orleans.
He did mention that when he thinks of Baton Rouge, things he associates with the city are crawfish, Paul Skenes, Livvy Dunne, New Orleans and Mardi Gras.
Portnoy also reviewed the pizza at City Slice Pizza. Portnoy gave the pizza that he tried there a 6.2.
