BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Sweet Baton Rouge shop is hosting a grand opening during Black Friday.
According to shop owner, Meredith Waguespack, the business will open its new shop in Perkins Rowe on Friday, Nov. 24. The grand opening is scheduled for 10 a.m. Doors open at 8 a.m.
The business sells licensed Louisiana-inspired shirts, apparel, accessories, and gifts.
Waguespack’s shop was previously located in Electric Depot for over 10 years and has decided to relocate to the Perkins Rowe area.
To celebrate the new opening and Black Friday, Sweet Baton Rouge is offering a Black Friday box special, which will include four new shirts for $48 with free shipping. The first 50 in-store visitors will be able to get an emblem bag for 40% off. Small businesses will be celebrated on Saturday.
The shop is located between Barnes and Noble and Versona.
