BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A local clothing and accessories seller is moving its shop to Perkins Rowe.
Sweet Baton Rouge is a Louisiana-based shop that sells LSU and Louisiana-related apparel and goods. The shop is moving from Electric Depot to Perkins Rowe.
The owner, Meredith Waguespack, said the shop has been in business for about 13 years and has been located in Electric Depot for about three of those years.
The company has decided to move to have a bigger space for both storefront and office use.
“We wanted to be in a space that was big enough to combine our office location and storefront location,” said Waguespack. “We also listened to our customers who have asked since we opened a storefront to be closer to the Baton Rouge area. This new storefront location opened up for us to do just that.”
As far as shipments, Waguespack wanted it all to be in the same location.
“We hope to have a space that’s a hybrid storefront, but also serves as a place for all of our logistical shipments each week. We plan to keep making great t-shirts our customers love and a place they can shop closer to their homes,” said Waguespack.
The storefront will be located at 7707 Bluebonnet Blvd., Suite 150, between Barnes and Noble and Versona.
Waguespack said the opening is scheduled for the week of Thanksgiving.
