BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Big River Economic and Agricultural Development (BREADA) will be hosting its Farm Fête at the Market event from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 23.

“We love seeing market vendors and patrons alike come together and get excited for Farm Fête, and festivities that it brings with it, which is really only possible through the generosity of local businesses and individuals that believes in a strong local system,” said BREADA. “We want everyone to know too, that you can participate in the silent auction online even if you aren’t present at the market or event!”

According to BREADA, the Farm Fête Silent Auction will be opening for bidding starting at 8 a.m. on Sept. 23. Some of the featured items include gift cards donated by local businesses, specialty items from Farmers Market vendors, a full dining experience at Eliza, and so much more.

BREADA will also be hosting a Wine Pull, live music by John Gray Jazz Trio from 8-10 a.m., a cash bar by Cocha and the opportunity to win a prize when you register for the silent auction, according to the release.

Their annual fundraiser will be on 6-9 p.m. Sept. 28 at the River Center Library.
