Baton Rouge group wants sock donations for those in need

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Family Resource Group Inc. is asking for donations of thousands of socks to help those in need.

According to the group, this year’s goal is to collect 28,000 pairs of socks, one of the most highly requested items from homeless shelters and outreach organizations. Anyone can participate in donating new socks from Nov. 1 to Dec. 11.

The group distributes donations to community outreach partners until the end of the year.
