BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting from Tuesday night.
According to police, before 11 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 6200 block of Howell Range Avenue. A victim, identified as Sedrick Wells, 20, was found at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said Wells was taken to a local hospital but later died of his injuries.
No motive or suspects have been determined at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
