BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to the Burger King in the 2800 block of Scenic Highway around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8.

BRPD said that a man and a woman were shot. EMS confirmed that they took two people to a local hospital. Their conditions are not known at this time.

There are currently no suspects and the investigation remains ongoing.
