BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Police Department was called to a reported shooting in the 2200 block of Goudchaux Street around 9:35 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7. Police confirmed that upon arrival at the scene, a girl was found with a gunshot wound to her arm.
As the investigation unfolded, detectives found out that multiple juveniles were outside when shots were fired, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.
Members of the Baton Rouge Police Department, crime scene tape and shell casings were also observed at the scene.
Investigators are searching for suspects and a motive in this shooting.
