BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department arrested the driver connected to the hit-and-run death of 38-year-old Quiana Brown.
Brown was involved in a hit-and-run crash near the intersection of North Foster Drive and North Street. Around 11:45 p.m. on Sept. 30, an unknown gray sedan hit Brown. Brown was also hit by a responding BRPD officer as she was lying in the street.
Aaron Michael Jones Jr., 26, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 2, on charges of hit-and-run driving with death or serious bodily injury.
Jones was released from the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a $5,000 bond, according to official documents.
