BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The first home game for the Baton Rouge Zydeco hockey team is set for late October. Once people get tickets, the next step is buying clothing before cheering on the team.
Baton Rouge Zydeco announced it is releasing its official home jersey, a navy blue jersey with Carolina blue and red details on the sleeves and bottom. It’s also decorated with a design of the Baton Rouge skyline and the season logo. This jersey will be available for preorders on Oct. 1.
That’s not the only piece of merchandise Baton Rouge hockey fans can get their hands on. The Baton Rouge Zydeco website is also selling short and long-sleeved t-shirts, hoodies and even a cowbell with the team’s logo to use at games.

Hockey fans will have to wait a little longer for the first game. The Baton Rouge team is set to face off against the Columbus River Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26 at the Raising Cane’s River Center.
