BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A new cookie spot is coming to Baton Rouge.
Caroline’s Cookies, a sweet spot based in Lafayette, will be opening a location in Baton Rouge soon.
There are four staple flavors and two special monthly flavors that change from month-to-month. Cookie flavors include a strawberry-stuffed cookie called Strawberry Pop-Tart, an Oreo-themed cookie with cream cheese called Oreo Swirl, the classic Chocolate Chip and more.
The owner, Caroline Merryman, started selling her cookies on social media, pop-up shops, and farmer’s markets before opening a physical store in August 2021, the store’s website said.
The company announced they were opening a second location in Baton Rouge at 10001 Perkins Rowe. An opening date has not been announced.
Caroline’s Cookies also caters and delivers.
In Lafayette, store hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
