BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Shop at one of Baton Rouge’s largest art festivals happening this Friday.
The Mid City Merchants presents the annual White Light Night, a free festival that brings artists, musicians, creators and more for attendees to enjoy. The festival will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17.
The event will start at the intersection of Jefferson Highway and Goodwood Avenue and head down to the intersection of Government Street and 14th Street. Attendees can enjoy live music, food vendors and buy art from local artists.
Liz Walker, owner of the Elizabethan Gallery and a vendor of the festival, is excited as she has been a part of the festival for almost 30 years.
“I’m so excited the festival is happening again this year, showcasing some of the best local talent, artisans, and businesses that Mid City has to offer,” said Walker.
