BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A special performance to celebrate the LSU Women’s Basketball team has been postponed.
According to LSU, rappers Lil Wayne and Latto were expected to perform at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Wednesday, Nov. 15, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the performance has been postponed.
LSU is actively working with the promoters to reschedule the special event.
All tickets will be refunded to the card used to purchase the ticket, according to LSU.
The celebration was in honor of the women’s basketball national championship win over the Iowa Hawkeyes last season. Lil Wayne narrated a promotional video for the Lady Tigers during the Final Four NCAA Tournament.
