BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A woman was killed after a shooting in Baton Rouge on Sunday, Oct. 29.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said the shooting took place around 10:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of Jackson Avenue. Police said Leticia Elliott, 39, was shot during a domestic incident and was sent to a local hospital but died from her injuries on Monday, Oct. 30.
The shooting is under investigation.
