BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A second suspect was arrested in connection to a shooting from Jan. 20.
According to police, an 18-year-old suspect was arrested for his alleged involvement in the deadly shooting of Geore Hankton, 20, in the 7800 block of Scenic Highway.
Hankton was found shot in a parking lot with another victim, police said.
The 18-year-old was booked into the East Baton Rouge Juvenile Detention Center on charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.
The first suspect, Landon Johnson, 18, was arrested on Feb. 16 on charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.
