BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – ALDI continues to expand in East Baton Rouge Parish. The supermarket chain announced its second location at 10201 N. Rieger Road, Baton Rouge, will open “later this fall.”
According to ALDI, a third store will open at 2345 O’Neal Lane by the end of 2023. Grand opening ceremonies will be held at the newest locations later this year.
The ALDI in Central officially opened on Thursday, Aug. 31.
So, what will the three stores look like when customers walk in? They “will feature open ceilings, natural lighting and environmentally friendly building materials,” according to Heather Moore, Loxley Divisional Vice President.
When asked about their growing footprint in Baton Rouge, Moore said, “We are thrilled to be expanding into Baton Rouge this year with multiple new locations. Knowing how important it is for the community to have access to quality, affordable groceries, we are looking forward to being able to provide them with such. We are incredibly proud to be strengthening our roots in Louisiana via Baton Rouge, and for the new job opportunities these locations will provide to hardworking members of the community.”
