BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Fans will have a special opportunity to join in on a country music legend’s “first-listen” event for her new album “Rockstar.”
Dolly Parton is inviting fans to movie theaters around the world for a special event that will be available on Wednesday, Nov. 15. According to a news release from J2 Communications, for fans who miss out on the Nov. 15 show, there will also be an encore showing on Thursday, Nov. 16.
Parton’s “Rockstar” global first-listen event will include behind-the-scenes sneak peeks, special performances, music videos and an exclusive interview with Parton, according to J2 Communications.
“I am excited to know that my fans around the world will be able to come together and be the first to hear a sneak peek of my Rockstar album,” said Parton. “I am so proud of this music, and I a humbled by all the wonderful artists who joined me. I cannot wait for people to hear it!”
For Dolly fans in the Baton Rouge area, the special event will be at Cinemark Perkins Rowe, located at 1000 Perkins Rowe Suite 125 in Baton Rouge, and Movie Tavern Juban Crossing, located at 9998 Crossing Way Suite 700 in Denham Springs.
The full album is set to be released on Nov. 17.
