BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department arrested a suspect accused of two shooting deaths in April.
BRPD arrested Erin Hartley, 33, in connection to the shooting deaths of Latonya Brown, 47, and her son Stacy Brown, 19.
The mother and son were found dead inside their apartment in the 2000 block of South Sherwood Forest Boulevard on April 25, according to police.
Hartley was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of two counts of first-degree murder, illegal use of a weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
An investigation is ongoing.
