BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A festival to benefit a local animal shelter returns to the capital city for another year.
The Cap City Beer Fest is a festival that features craft beer tastings from local breweries, music, live entertainment, and food vendors.
The festival’s proceeds benefit the Companion Animal Alliance, one of East Baton Rouge’s open-intake animal shelters.
Festival organizers said the attendees can get in for free but will need to purchase tickets for beer tasting. Cap City Beer Fest will be taking place at the corner of N. 4th Street and North Street in downtown Baton Rouge from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5.
Children are allowed as this is a family-friendly event. Dogs are also allowed but must be on a leash at all times.
