Blues musician Kenny Neal to perform at SugarFest

WEST BATON ROUGE PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) — Blues musician Kenny Neal will be taking the stage at the West Baton Rouge Museum’s SugarFest.

SugarFest will be on Sunday, Oct. 3 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festival features music, museum exhibits, sugarcane cutting and grinding demonstrations, art, and much more, including demonstrations for blacksmithing, woodworking, and weaving.

Music featured at the event will include genres such as blues, Dixieland jazz, folk, cajun, zydeco and bluegrass.

Kenny Neal will be at the Juke Joint Stage at 2:45 p.m. to gift guitars to students in the Blues After School program.

The festival is free and located at 845 North Jefferson Avenue, Port Allen, Louisiana.
