The Baton Rouge Area Association of Black Journalists is gearing up for it’s 6th Annual Scholarship Luncheon.

BRAABJ’s annual luncheon is just a few weeks away. On April 26 the organization will honor pioneer journalists and media professionals at it’s annual scholarship luncheon. The luncheon is at Boudreaux’s from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This event helps raise scholarship money for local students planning to pursue a career in journalism.

This year’s honorees are Former WWL Reporter and Anchor Sally Ann Roberts, LSU Manship School Dean Jerry Ceppos and Alpha Media & Public Relations Todd Sterling.

Tickets to attend the luncheon are available for $30. Scholarships start at $500. If you would like to purchase tickets or learn more about BRAABJ visit http://www.brareabj.org/.
