BRCC to offer adult education classes in Gardere area

Baton Rouge Community College and the Gardere Initiative, a nonprofit organization that addresses substance abuse and other issues in the area, will offer a “Work Ready U” class in the Gardere area.

The class is free and available to people age 21 or older who have not graduated high school, according to BRCC media contact Kizzy Payton.

The class prepares people to pass the HiSET standardized test, and graduates of the program will receive their high school equivalency diploma.
