BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – East Baton Rouge has been classified as a community of high transmission by The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, according to a tweet from Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome.

Broome says to wear a face covering and to get vaccinated or boosted if it hasn’t been done already.
