BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Something else is cancelled, but this time it has nothing to do with COVID-19.

The next BREC Geaux Fish Catfish Rodeo is scheduled to happen in the Fall after the upcoming sold out Catfish Rodeo was nixed because of ‘inclement weather.’

BREC released a statement below with more details about the decision:

BREC’s Conservation Department has made the difficult decision to cancel the Geaux Fish Catfish Rodeo scheduled for February 20, 2021. BREC will host its next Geaux Fish Catfish Rodeo in the fall, but invites patrons to participate in other BREC Conservation upcoming events that happen throughout the year.
