BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Baton Rouge firefighters responded to a local auto shop fire on North Ardenwood Friday afternoon.

An employee at Baton Rouge Customs sparked a fire while welding on a vehicle, according to Baton Rouge Fire Department (BRFD). Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the back of the shop where a vehicle was fully engulfed in flames and another vehicle starting to ignite.
