BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD)- The Baton Rouge Fire department is investigating a case of arson at a house fire on Fig Street on Jan. 23 around 1:30 a.m.
Firefighters arrived at the vacant home ingulfed in flames.
The fire was contained before it could damage neighboring buildings.
The home is at a total loss.
EMS, Entergy and BRPD were also at the scene.
