BRPD detectives arrest man in connection to N. 13th Street homicide

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Police Department has arrested a man in connection to a homicide on N. 13th Street.

BRPD said the homicide of 33-year-old Larry Winfrey occurred on July 28. Additionally, two others were injured, according to detectives.

The suspect arrested by authorities was identified as 44-year-old Christopher Bacon of Houston, Texas.

Bacon faces one count of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder. He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
