BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – 61-year-old Danny Buckley, of 323 S. 16th St. was shot in the Trader Joe’s parking lot on Perkins Rd.
Investigators believe the shooting took place at approximately 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 22.
BRPD says, “Buckley was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.”
The investigation found that an altercation may have led to the shooting.
Trader Joe’s is located at 3535 Perkins Rd.
The investigation into this deadly shooting remains open.
