BRPD investigating deadly crash where vehicle crashed into a tree and house

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Two passengers are dead after a late night single-vehicle crash on Kenilworth Pkwy.

21-year-old Corey Des Marteau, of Weeki Wachee, Fla. and 24-year-old Joshua Perry, of 10139 Glen Arbor Ave. were killed after their vehicle crashed a little before 11p.m on Saturday, March 13.

The deadly accident took place “in the 1600 block of Kenilworth Parkway,” according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.

BRPD says, “the 22 year old driver of a 2010 Subaru Outback lost control and crashed into a tree and then a house.”

There is no word on the condition of the driver other than being sent to a local hospital.

The investigation into this deadly crash is open.
