BRPD investigating deadly shooting on Matilda St.

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A teenager is dead after an early morning shooting on Matilda St.

17-year-old Rodrick Cook was shot and killed a little after 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27.

A second person sustained gunshot wounds and was “transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries,” according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.
